Privacy Policy

Scope

Tee’d Up Technologies LLC ("Tee’d Up," "we," "us," or "our") operates websites, mobile and web applications, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Tee’d Up.

This Policy is written for everyday readers. It is not legal advice. Ownership and content licensing are described in our Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

We collect information in these general categories: account and profile information; gameplay and score data; club, staff, and event information; uploaded content; reward and redemption records; payment metadata; device and technical information; and communications you send to support.

Account and Profile Information

When you create or maintain an account, we collect details you choose to provide — such as name, email address, optional phone number, optional GHIN or handicap-related fields, home club or course labels, profile preferences, and profile images when those features are available.

Gameplay and Score Data

We store rounds, scores, games, stats, invites, event participation, messaging content you send through in-app chat, rewards or coupon activity tied to your account, and similar records needed to operate features you use.

Club, Staff, and Event Information

When you participate in club programs, staff roles, or events, we process club affiliation, staff role assignments, event records, and operational data needed for those features.

Uploaded Images, Logos, and Scorecards

We may process uploaded images, scorecards, club logos, partner logos, and similar materials to provide Service features you use.

Scorecard capture may use your camera or photo library when you choose those options. Cloud-assisted reading, when enabled for your build, may transmit images to an OCR endpoint configured for your deployment — you confirm imported values before they affect saved play.

Ownership and licensing of uploads are governed by our Terms of Use. Tee’d Up does not claim ownership of your uploads in this Policy.

Rewards Partner Application Information

The public Rewards Partner application on teeduptechnologies.com prepares an email draft addressed to support@teeduptechnologies.com. You choose whether to send the email.

We receive application information only if you send that email. Completing the form alone does not create a Partner Portal account, does not write application data to a Tee’d Up database from the form alone, and does not grant Partner Portal access.

Partner Portal Account Information

If you are approved for Partner Portal access, we may process partner profile details, team access records, reward configuration, and — as features are enabled — issuance and redemption records. Partner features may roll out gradually.

Reward Issuance and Redemption Records

We may process records needed to display reward wallets, track eligibility, operate rewards programs, support redemption, and investigate fraud. Automated network-wide issuance may not be enabled for every deployment.

Payment Information and Stripe

Purchases such as Day Pass checkout may be processed by Stripe or another payment processor. Card numbers are collected directly by the processor under its terms; Tee’d Up does not store complete payment card numbers on our servers.

We may receive limited billing metadata (for example last four digits, brand, subscription or purchase status, and reconciliation identifiers) needed to manage access and provide receipts. Stripe webhooks may update subscription and day-pass entitlement status on our servers.

Device, Usage, and Technical Information

We collect technical information needed to run the Service — such as device type, operating system version, app version, identifiers used for authentication sessions, IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic or crash information.

Depending on configuration, we may use first-party logs to measure stability, performance, and feature usage. We do not sell your personal information.

Location Data

Tee’d Up does not require continuous device location tracking to function. We do not describe GPS geofencing as a core requirement of the Service.

Course or market information you enter or select (such as city, state, or course labels) may be used for course discovery, club operations, or Rewards Network market assignment when those features are implemented.

If we introduce optional device location features, we will ask permission where required and update this Policy.

Messaging and Support Communications

Messages you send via in-app chat and communications to support are stored to enable the Service and to help us respond. We retain support correspondence to resolve issues and to improve the Service.

When you email support@teeduptechnologies.com or contact us through support channels, we process the information you include so we can respond.

Data Safety — What We Collect and Why

Identifiers & account information: We collect your name, email, and sign-in identifiers to create and secure your account and to send transactional messages. Shared with service providers and clubs as needed to operate club features. We do not sell this information.

Profile & club membership: We collect home club, roles, and profile preferences to enable club features and access. Shared with your club and partner operators where needed. We do not sell this information.

Gameplay & scorecards: We store rounds, scores, and game data to power leaderboards, history, and rewards. Shared with clubs and partners only as required for program fulfillment. We do not sell this information.

Events & participation: We keep event registrations and attendance to support scheduling and club operations. Shared with the event host club as needed. We do not sell this information.

Messaging/chat: Messages you send are stored to deliver the Service and may be visible to other users in the conversation. We do not sell this information.

Rewards & redemptions: We store reward eligibility and redemption records to operate the Rewards Network. Shared with partners only for fulfillment. We do not sell this information.

Payment metadata: Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we receive limited metadata (e.g., last four digits, transaction status) for reconciliation and entitlement. We do not sell this information.

Photos/media: If you upload images, we may store or process them for OCR or display. Shared only with processors needed to perform that work. We do not sell this information.

Device & diagnostics: We collect usage and diagnostic data to maintain and improve the Service. Aggregated analytics may be used for product improvement. We do not sell this information.

How Information Is Used

We use information to provide and improve the Service — including authentication, syncing rounds and profiles, operating club and partner tools, processing access and payments, supporting rewards programs, delivering messages, preventing fraud and abuse, responding to support requests, enforcing our Terms, troubleshooting issues, and complying with law.

How Information Is Shared

We share information with service providers that process data on our behalf; with clubs when needed for club features you use; with partners only as reasonably needed for approved reward fulfillment or redemption; when required by law; and in connection with a business transfer where permitted by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service Providers

We rely on vendors such as Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, and related cloud infrastructure when configured), Stripe for payments, and Expo and Apple/Google platform services for app distribution. Optional OCR or analytics providers may apply to your deployment.

Those providers access information only as needed to perform services for us and must protect it consistent with their agreements and policies.

Club and Partner Visibility Boundaries

Clubs receive operational data needed for club features — not unrestricted access to unrelated golfer activity outside those programs.

Partner Portal users remain scoped to their approved partner organization. Partner staff do not receive broad golfer gameplay access merely because they are partner users.

Reward-related information is limited to what is needed for approved rewards and redemptions.

Cloud Functions & Webhooks

We use secure server-side functions to process account operations, billing callables, webhook handlers, rewards issuance, and other backend tasks. These functions receive only the data needed to perform their job.

Stripe webhooks and similar server events may update subscription status, day-pass grants, and entitlements. We store only the billing metadata required to reconcile access and provide receipts; we do not store full payment card numbers.

Data Access, Export, Correction, and Deletion Requests

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting support@teeduptechnologies.com.

We may require identity verification to process these requests and will respond in accordance with applicable law. Some records may be retained where required for legal obligations, billing reconciliation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, or ordinary backup practices.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have specific rights under state law, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to request correction, the right to opt out of certain sharing or sale of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

Tee’d Up does not sell personal information. To exercise California privacy rights, contact support@teeduptechnologies.com. We will verify requests and respond consistent with applicable law.

Push Notifications

If enabled, we may send optional push notifications for club activity, events, messages, rewards, billing/access updates, or gameplay updates. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings or in-app settings where available. Notification tokens may be stored to deliver notifications and are processed only by providers necessary to deliver the messages.

Data Retention

We retain account and profile data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Gameplay records (rounds and score history) are retained as part of your account history unless you request deletion or anonymization.

Messages, event records, and reward/redemption records are retained to support club operations and investigate disputes. Billing records are retained as required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Diagnostic logs and analytics data are retained for a limited operational period to support stability and security; backups may persist for a short period after deletion as part of ordinary backup and disaster recovery practices.

Some data stored locally on your device may remain until you uninstall the app or clear app storage.

Account Deletion

Signed-in users may submit an account deletion request from Account Settings. Public steps are also described at https://teeduptechnologies.com/delete-account.

Deletion is not instant. We may retain some records where required for legal obligations, billing reconciliation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, or ordinary backup practices.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We may monitor for fraud, cheating, spam, or misuse to protect users and program integrity.

Children’s Privacy

Tee’d Up is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact support@teeduptechnologies.com if you believe we have collected a child’s information.

Regional Privacy Rights

Privacy rights may vary by location. You may contact support@teeduptechnologies.com with requests or questions. We will respond consistent with applicable law. Additional notices may apply where required.

Third-Party Links

The Service may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy policies govern those sites and services.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised effective date at our hosted policy URLs and in the app.
